Mr. B. brought back home a gift for me from the event in Quakenbrück last weekend: two sets of veil pins. The one has lapis lazuli beads, and the other cut garnets. I just love them, and can't wait to wear them with my frilled veil soon!
Lovely!!! It was a really nice weekend, what a pity you couldn't make it - hope to see you on the next Tohopesate-event to have a little chat :-)
Machtheld, it was so nice meeting you and I'm really sorry I missed taking a look on your smocked apron! I was so busy working and cooking, I almost forgot taking some fotos and looking at the other displays until it was sunday afternoon and everybody was packing :-(
Isis, they're lovely! I bought the same blue ones, without knowing Bertus had also bought them for you :-) If we ever go to a festival together, we should check beforehand to make sure we don't look exactly the same :-)
Chris, it was really nice to meet you, and your enthusiasm about bookbinding was contagious. Such weekends are always really busy, but I'm sure we'll meet again somewhere!
